new hampshire ABC debate

One Night - Two - Debates - Two Sets of Questioning
McCain: The Surge Works!
Thompson: I'm awake! I'm awake!
Paul: Monetary Policy! Substance!
Guiliani: Ronald Reagan! 9-11!
Edwards: I'm Ready to Fight for You!
Obama: Hope & Change!
Richardson 4 VP
Clinton: 35 Years of Experience!
ABC: TERROR!
Note: The Walt Disney Corp. owns ABC, ESPN, Lifetime, 65 radio stations and 6 film companies.
That was my take on the New Hampshire debate. This drawing would need to be cleaned up and expanded a little to be published in print. I doubt it would run regardless, but I still wanted to share my thoughts.
The debate format was better than previous debates. I would have preferred that both sets of candidates were asked the same or similar questions so voters could actually compare the candidates on the issues.
When Congressman Ron Paul brought up real issues, the rest of teh Republican field laughed and continued promoting fear and terror. Charlie Gibson needed to step up and press everyone on the issues Paul raised. Gibson did do a decent job of follow-up questioning otherwise. Funny though how the Democrats were only really asked about foreign policy and terrorism while the Republicans were given soft-ball questions (for them) on immigration and Iraq. Not to mention the Obama-bashing segment.

just saying

While I agree that the Patriots could not have broken all those records Saturday without great skill and hard work, I will always have the spying scandal in mind when I see them play. That's why I was rooting for the Giants during that last game of this NFL season. I don't like seeing cheaters win, in football or in politics.

I drew this Sunday morning, but I didn't get a chance to post until today. I waited to see if work had room to print it in the upcoming Jan. 3 edition, which didn't happen.
