Hello My Name is Fear

Hello My Name is Fear, 8x10, 11x14 with frame, collage on paper, 2009

This is a collage taken from only one issue of Newsweek. Like a hidden message collected from the text and ads. I like the idea of doing one of these per week. Plus, it gives me some way to make a statement about the week's news -- and something to do with the magazines.

I am going to enter this in the Pee Dee Regional once I get it framed. Also, I plan to enter the 24x36 collage about the NSA spying/wiretapping program (that's still in existence). I just finished it off with some aluminum foil.

Rock's Cafe Painting

Part of a series I am working on of cool architecture in Darlington. I am calling this "Rock's Cafe." Every day I drive to work and drive by it, I just imagine the possibilities of this empty building - a vessel waiting to be filled.

Chameleon Art Gallery

I have been accepted to exhibit at the Chameleon Art Gallery. The gallery represents around 30 artists.
Right now, my Ode to Hands series is on display. My piece Poolside View is also there.
