no matter how necessary,
nor how justified,
is not a crime."

I am just finishing a book by Diane Ackerman (no relation) called "The Zookeeper's Wife" set in Warsaw during WWII it is poetic and beautiful under the cloud of war. Perhaps some wars are more justifiable than others. Or at the very least the intent is clearer. Why is it that we were so late getting to WWII and far too early to get to the Middle East? Could it be Oil? I wonder how it is that oil today means more than human life ment then? Or is it that human life still means nothing, unless of course you are an unborn fetus?
